Knowledge Hub crosses 5,000 indexed publications

The Knowledge Hub has now indexed over 5,000 publications affiliated with Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory, going back to the 1970s. Along with the publications corpus, the hub now searches across 1,400 grey-literature documents — agency reports, theses, and conference proceedings — and 1,200 public datasets covering pollinators, wildflowers, climate, snowpack, and watershed ecology in the Gunnison Basin.

Search is hybrid: keyword first, with a semantic re-ranking layer powered by pgvector for queries that benefit from concept matching. The graph explorer surfaces neighbourhoods of related entities — species, sites, researchers, and datasets — that often co-occur in the literature.
